DAY 1 : MARRAKECH - DADES GORGES VIA OUARZAZATE

Marrakech

We'll enter the high Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass. Along a trail that rises from the lowlands to an elevation of 2,260 miles above sea level. As you journey through these gorgeous highlands, you will come across tiny little villages, smaller waterfalls, and a continuously changing scenery and colour palette.

Ait Benhaddou (Ait Benhaddou)
Make a pit break on the pass for some mint tea, which will refresh you, and take in the spectacular landscape before continuing on to the kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. You may now visit the iconic kasbah, which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site and has appeared in a number of films, including Gladiator, Babel, Lawrence of Arabia, and the Sheltering Sky.

Ouarzazate
Visit the city of Ouarzazate, the kasbah of Taourirt, and the Atlas Studios, which are some of Africa's most well-known and largest film studios. The following leg of the journey takes you via Ouarzazate, the world-famous Valley of Roses, and the Dades Valley.

The Dades Gorges
Arrive to the Dades Gorges just in time for sunset, then proceed to a very traditional hotel for supper and an overnight stay.

DAY 2: DADES VALLEY – TODRA GORGES - MERZOUGA

Todgha Gorge

early morning departure in the direction of the Merzouga sand dunes. Pay a visit to the Palmeraie region, which features a dense palm forest containing hundreds of palm trees. Following that, make your way to Todgha Gorge and spend some time exploring the area there. Continue on through Tinejdad and Erfoud and then stop for lunch in Rissani on the way back. You will stop at the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif before continuing on to Merzouga.

Merzouga
In Merzouga, you will ride a camel over the magnificent dunes of Erg Chebbi while watching the sunset over the dunes. Tents will be provided for you to sleep in for the night.

DAY 3 : MERZOUGA DESERT - AGDZ - OUARZAZATE

MERZOUGA

You will continue your trip on the third day after breakfast, and you will have one last chance to climb the dunes before you leave. Following that, you will begin on a long but spectacular trek into the southern Anti-Atlas desert. You will be able to see nomadic camel herders roaming grasslands and the thriving date palm settlements of this remote area.

Ouarzazate

Ouarzazate, your last destination, is the biggest city in the Moroccan Sahara and home to one of Hollywood's most diversified film studios. Dinner should be had at a fancy restaurant one evening.

DAY 4 : TRAVEL BACK TO MARRAKECH FROM OUARZAZATE

Tizi n'Tichka

You will leave Ouarzazate bright and early today and travel to Marrakech over the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains.

On your final day, you will get the opportunity to visit Marrakech and its famed souk market. Snake charmers, fortune tellers, acrobats, and other entertainers may be found at this market.
