A three-day trek that starts south of Marrakesh and ends in the High Atlas Mountains is an excellent way to take in the region's natural splendour. You will visit several Berber settlements, engage in conversation with the locals, and gain an understanding of the region's rich historical background.

You will travel through some of the most stunning valleys and see some of the most genuine Berber towns that the High Atlas has to offer. Full board and accommodations, in addition to the services of well respected tour guides, are incorporated into the package price.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Marrakech - Imi Oughlad - Tinzert
Marrakech
We will take you from your accommodation location to Imlil at Imi Oughlad (1,450m), where you will meet your Berber muleteer and guide, so that you can begin your three-day trip to tour Berber towns in the Atlas Mountains. This excursion will begin after you have been transported there.

Imlil
You will make your way over the Atlas Mountains while you are on your expedition. In order to adjust to the new altitude, on the first day of our trip to Ouirgane National Park, we will take it easy and make our way through the park.

The National Park of Ouirgane
This area has a more muted landscape, characterised by the copper green colour of the soil and the presence of juniper trees. Overnight at Tinzert Gite. If you walk, you may complete the distance in three to four hours at the most.

Day 2: Tinzert - Azzaden Valley (Ait Aissa)
Hiking in Atlas
After finishing breakfast, you will leave the Valley and continue on to the breathtaking Azzaden Valley. The panoramas begin with a mountain stream that is gushing and is encircled by thick walnut forests. This stream winds its way all the way up to Toubkal and her sister peaks, which are located at the very top of the Valley.

Ait Aissa
You have the option of spending the night at a Gite inside the Ait Aissa community. The total time spent walking is between five and six hours.

Day 3: Ait Aissa - Tizi N Mznik - Marrakech
Azzadene Valley
The spectacular ascent out of the Azzadene Valley marks the beginning of today's adventure and marks the beginning of the journey. You will go up the valley until you reach Tizi Oussem, and then you will travel down the valley and through the Tizi n Mzik pass before arriving at Imlil (2489m).

Imlil
You will begin your journey to Imlil, during which you will walk for around three to four and a half hours. We are really appreciative that you made the decision to come with us on a trek over the Atlas Mountains that was conducted by a seasoned travel group.

Marrakech
Following the completion of the hike, we will either transfer you back to your lodging in Imlil or Marrakech, or we will take you to the airport, bringing an end to our excursion through Berber settlements that spanned three days.

The answer is yes, children are welcome on this trip.

We exclusively do private excursions, so there won't be anybody else in the car with you, and both the driver and the guide will be dedicated just to your group.
