Al-Ukhdood is a historical city dating back to the era of the Kingdom of Himyar (110 BC until 525 AD) located on the banks of Wadi Najran in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The city was famous for the historic massacre that Dhul Nawas, one of the kings of the Himyar state, inflicted in the year 520 against the Christians of the region (the owners of the grooves).

The plan:
Meet the tour guide at the meeting point and start driving from Abha around 8 AM. Get to Najran city at 11 AM. We will start our trip with Al Okhdood Archaeological Site and Najran Regional Museum. Take your time to chill for a bit next to the Najran Valley Dam.
Visit some castles (Castle of Rome, Qasr Al-Ana, and Emara Palace) from different civilizations and check out the city's biggest park (King Fahd Park) before returning to Abha.
