One Day Trip from Marrakech to Ouzoud Waterfalls

Picking you up at your Marrakech accommodation, we will head east from the city in a private car. Make your first stop at Imi n’Ifri, a natural travertine arch that spans a deep gorge, where you can follow a trail to a jumble of boulders and a freshwater spring. Continue to the Ouzoud Waterfalls on a route that passes through High Atlas villages and rugged mountain scenery. Your driver will wait for you in the falls’ main parking area as you explore the area on your own. This is the perfect place to slip into the river for a cool swim, or cross the base of the falls on a small, traditional ferry—the expert ferryman guides the boat across the river on a fixed rope. Watch for the native Barbary macaque monkeys that cluster at the water’s edge, then stop at a riverside restaurant for a traditional meal or tea. When you’ve finished visiting the falls, meet your driver in the parking area for the return trip to Marrakech, arriving at your accommodation at roughly 6pm.
