Admire the spectacular Ouzoud Waterfalls, join a scenic hike with a local guide, and get closer to the falls on a boat ride! Don't miss the wild monkeys roaming around the falls! Relax with transportation and lunch pre-arranged.

What you’re going to do

Embark on a full-day tour to the Ouzoud Waterfalls with a small group of maximum 20 people, or as a private group. We will pick you up from your hotel or riad, before departing for one of the most spectacular waterfalls in North Africa, located 93 miles (150 km) north of Marrakech.

Upon arrival in the village of Ouzoud, admire views of the cascades that plunge 360 feet (110 meters) into the pool below. Meet a local guide who will take you on a walk through olive tree groves, share information about the local Berber culture and take you to visit a local Argan oil cooperative.

Then, walk down a network of trails that lead down to the bottom with your guide. Enjoy a stop at a scenic viewpoint where you can buy a fresh orange juice, before boarding a traditional boat for a short ride in the pool at the bottom of the waterfalls.

Lunch will be at a local restaurant overlooking the falls and will be your choice from a traditional Berber menu. After lunch, you’ll have 20 minutes of free time to take pictures, admire the views, or explore the souvenir stalls.

In the mid-afternoon, you’ll walk up a series of stairs to board the minibus and then be transferred back to Marrakech.

Curated name

Rachid

My name is Rachid berber man was born and grew up in Imlil valley at the high Atlas mountains of Morocco , I work year-round here in Imlil valley as a mountain guide In winter I take Travelers backcountry skiing and ice climbing and teaching the skills associated with these activities while in the summer time my work is an even mix of rock climbing, mountain biking, mountaineering, hiking backpacking... I think I always knew I wanted to be a guide, but didn’t know it was an option until my early 17 years I managed to speak 2 languages fluently: English, and French, in addition to Berber and Arabic, As long as I can remember, I felt strongly that I wanted to work in an environment that was both physically and intellectually stimulating. It’s a combination of perks and challenges that I can’t imagine encountering in any other job. I have been guide for the last 8years I had a big experience with a lot of people from different countries in the world. I love my clients, love the endeavors they take me on (seriously ... I'm on their trip, regardless of who's in the lead - that's an important part of the paradigm)
