What you’re going to do

Day 1 : Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou – Dades Valley
Firstly, our trip will be began in Marrakesh, we will take you from your Riad, at 8:00 AM. Then, we’ll drive to Ouarzazate through the Tizi ‘n’ Tichka pass (2260m) -over the High Atlas Mountains. Importantly, appreciate the amazing landscape on the twisted roads through the Berber villages. In addition, arriving at the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, Now UNESCO matrimonial historical site and the house of many Glaoui family members, we’ll take lunch by the Kasbah before continuing to Dades Gorge via Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”, along the “Road of the thousand Kasbahs”. We will stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose’s city” known for roses and its annual festival during the roses harvest in May. In conclusion, we’ll move to a hotel in the heart of the Dades Gorge. You will pass an overnight there.

Day 2 : Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Dunes)
After that, when you take your breakfast in the hotel, we’ll drive back through the valley to see the awesome rock formation known as “the monkey toes". During, leaving the Dades valley towards Tinghir and the Todra valley you’ll see panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley. However on our way to arriving at the Gorge is an opportunity to walk under the 300m high red cliff, Further, we will move to Erfoud and Rissani where we’ll visit the local souk and then, we will head to the hotel in Merzouga desert, where your camel will waiting for you. Above all You will be welcome with a glass of mint tea, before you mount your camel, your camel Guide will head you to explore within the inside sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi. Moreover, you will take amazing pictures, and you’ll spend an amazing night in the tent.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Nqob – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
In conclusion, on third day 3, the camels will take us for the return trip back to Merzouga, and you take Shower & Breakfast in your Hotel. Then, we will enjoy our journey back through the Draa Valley to Ouarzazate over the Atlas Mountains. We will arrive back in Marrakech around 19:00hrs or 20:00hrs. and we finish our happy trip.

How do I get from Marrakech to Merzouga?
Merzouga is the main access point to the rolling Erg Chebbi Desert sand dunes. You can travel directly from Marrakech to Merzouga using the 8:30 am Supratour bus, which is the only bus that currently makes the entire trip direct.
Can you fly to Merzouga?
The closest commercial airport to Merzouga is Errachidia, about 2 hours to the camp. There is flight twice a week from Casablanca (Wednesday and Sunday) and three times a week on the return to Casablanca (Monday, Thursday and Saturday).
