Berber Villages Trek: 2 Days Hike In Atlas

When hiking in Morocco, there is no tension, no fuss, and no waiting in line.
During your trip of Morocco's Berber towns, you will travel to some of the most famous locations in the Atlas mountains, accompanied by a local guide. The trip offers both a pick-up and a drop-off service.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Marrakech - Imlil - Tizi Mzik - Tizi Oussem (1850m)
Hikes through famous Berber villages in Morocco are something we organize. After breakfast, we will take you from Marrakech to the High Atlas Mountains in a private vehicle. After traveling via Tahnnaout and Oued Ghighaya, we arrive at the picturesque hamlet of Asni, which is our ultimate destination. As soon as we get to Imlil, we find the local guide and muleteer team waiting for us. Ascending to the summit of the Tizi Mzik pass marks the beginning of our exciting expedition (at 2684 m). We will travel to Tamsoulte, which is where you will find the waterfalls in the Atlas Mountains that are the highest (100 m). After that, we go through the Azzaden valley until we reach the village of Tizi Oussem. You will spend the night at a guest house that is located nearby. (During your ascent of Toubkal, we may arrange either standard or deluxe accommodation.)

Day 2: Tizi Oussem - Id Issa Village - Tizi Oudid (2000m) - Mattat - Imlil (1740m)
After breakfast, we will descend to the village of Id Issa, where we will continue our exploration of the settlement and meet some of its residents. While we are seeing the Berber homes, we should pause to have some tea with one of the Berber families. After lunch, we continue the hike with a beautiful view of the High Atlas Mountains from the backside of Oukiemeden Mountain. The next pass that we climb is called Tizi Oudid and it is located at 2200 meters. We travel on via Matat village till we reach Aguersioual at an elevation of 1650 meters. We will come to pick you up and drive you to your hotel or other accommodation in the Marrakech area. End of Berber settlements Trek 2 days.
