This is a hiking tour of Rakkabt Canyon where you also visit many of Wadi Rum's sites by jeep. You will check out several stunning views as you walk through the canyon. After a refreshing hike, we will stop for a traditional Bedouin lunch before hopping in a jeep to visit several of the most famous sites of Wadi Rum. You will experience an evening filled with Bedouin traditions before settling in a comfortable private tent or outdoors with an incredible view of the starry night sky.

What you’re going to do

Day 1: Tour around Rakkabt Canyon and Wadi Rum Sites
Reaching Wadi Rum Visitor Centre, the gateway to the Wadi Rum Protected Area. you will need to pay the entrance fees or enter with the Jordan Pass. After the Visitor Centre, you will continue onward for about 6km to the Wadi Rum Village until you reach the Wadi Rum Rest House at 10:00 AM. We will lead you inside for a cup of warm tea after which will set off to the desert!

The tour will start from the Wadi Rum Village, progressing towards Rakkabt Canyon. On this trail, we will see splendid views of Rum Village and Valley of Um Ishrin. This trail takes about 2 hours to complete. After the canyon, we continue to the magical sand dune area, where we will have lunch and rest with Bedouin tea. After lunch we will be picked up by a jeep in order to visit many of the famous sites of Wadi Rum including Lawrence's House and Khazali Canyon.

Following the jeep tour, we will make our way to the camp where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the setting sun moving behind the desert mountains. After the sunset, you will gather in our big tent where we serve a buffet style meal of traditional Bedouin dishes. When you are ready for bed, you can head back to your private tent or camp out beneath the starry night sky.

Day 2: Breakfast and leaving
Breakfast will be served around 7:00. After breakfast, we will drive back to the Rum Village, arriving around 8:30.
