What you’re going to do

You will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul early in the morning and transferred to Atatürk Airport for your flight to Izmir. Once in in Izmir you will be met at the airport by your tour guide who will take you on a tour of Ephesus. Day 1: The ancient city of Ephesus is known to be the commercial, the religious and the social center of antiquity, and one of the Highlights of any Visit in Turkey. Your tour of Ephesus begins by visiting the Temple of Artemis (Diana), which is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. After lunch, we will visit the House of Virgin Mary where she lived a few years, then the Isa Bey Mosque, which dates back to the 14th Century A.D. Overnight in a 3-star hotel. Day 2: First the tour will start by visiting the white travertine cascades of Pamukkale, which means “Cotton Castle” in Turkish before it visits the ancient city of Hierapolis. Pamukkale and Hierapolis are both on the UNESCO world heritage sites list since 1988. The tour stops for lunch at a 4-star hotel, where you will be able to go for a swim in the healing thermal waters. After that, you will have a chance to walk among the ancient ruins of Hierapolis. Overnight in a 3-star hotel. Day3: Priene was once a harbour city but is now located 16 km inland from the sea on the hills of the Mykale Mountain. Your tour in Priene includes a visit to the theatre, which is one of the most beautiful theatres from The Hellenic World. You will also visit The Athena Polias Temple, which was reconstructed by Alexander The Great as a gift to the city. After that, the tour heads to the ancient city of Miletus. Located on the trade routes, Miletus was one of the biggest cities in Anatolia. Then, the tour visits Didyma, which was one of the biggest temples in the Hellenic world dedicated to Apollon. After the tour you will be transferred to airport for your return flight to Istanbul. In Istanbul you will be transferred to your hotel.
