What you’re going to do
Day 1: You will be picked up by your tour guide early in the morning from your hotel.The tour begins with the Roman Hippodrome, where the chariot races were organized by the Romans and Byzantines. After that, The Blue Mosque, the only mosque with six minarets and its surroundings will be our next place to visit. Next, you will see the German Fountain - a gift of Kaiser Wilhelm 2- and listen to the stories of his liaison with the Orient. Hagia Sophia - The Church of Divine Wisdom is the highlight of this day. Following the visits, your guide will take you to the Grand Bazaar for some irresistible shopping and a demonstration of Turkish Handicrafts. After that, you will visit Topkapı Museum, which is the most important museum of Turkey and the Balkan Peninsula. Next place to see is Hagia Irene Church (from outside), and finally Our 2 last places of interest are Caferaga Medrese and Sogukcesme Street. You will be transferred back to your hotel at the end of the tour.
Day 2: From the awe-inspiring Dolmabahce Palace to the ancient Walls of Constantine and onto the Topkapi Palace, experience the best views the city has to offer while enjoying a wonderful cruise along the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn.
Gain a unique insight into the great city’s history during your journey along the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn. Your cruise ends in Eminönü Pier where it started. The tour continues with a drive over the first Intercontinental Bridge that connects Europe and Asia headed towards the Çamlıca Hill, the highest peak in Istanbul, for your chance to see the splendid panorama of the Bosphorus Strait. Following a photo stop, we continue to drive over the suspension bridge and then arrive at Dolmabahçe Palace where you will have a unique experience of this magnificent 19th-century building with an excellent guide.
Day 3: Istanbul was the capital of the Byzantium Empire which rocked the ancient world, and this special full-day tour covers most of the historical monasteries of Byzantine Constantinople.
You will see ruins of Byzantine churches, Byzantine stone houses, dungeons, columns, palaces and lots of other places. The highlight of the day is definitely the church of St Savior of Chora where you will be amazed by the mosaics and frescoes. You will stop for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant during the tour, after which you will be taken back to your hotel.
