Day 1: Marrakech - Tizi - N - Tichka - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Gorges
You’ll depart from Marrakech at 7:00 in the morning. You’ll cross the Col Tichka, to visit Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, then you’ll have lunch at Ouarzazate. You will traverse Skoura oasis, Kalaat M’gouna and the valley of roses to reach Dadès Gorge. You’ll spend your night at a hotel in Dadès.
Day 2: Dades Gorges - Tinghir - Todra Gorges - Tinjdad - Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll leave Dades Gorge for Erg Chebbi at the gateway to
the Sahara Desert. You’ll See Berber villages scattered along the way, and pass through Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud. You’ll also see the oasis of Tafilalet before your arrival at Merzouga. You’ll stop to relax at Merzouga for a little while before you climb on to
the back of a camel and cross the sand dunes to a nomadic Berber camp. You’ll get to see the sand dunes and desert landscape from a timeless perspective as you listen to the drums of the desert camp in the middle of the Sahara. Take photos of the dramatic sunset from the
top of a high dune. Then, go to the camp to spend the night in a nomad tent.
Day 3: Camel Trek Back to Merzouga - Atlas Mountains - Return to Marrakech
Admire the beautiful sun rise in the early morning, then enjoy a camel ride back to Merzouga. Afterwards you’ll head to Ouarzazate for lunch. At Ouarzazate there might be a visit to the cinema studios depending on time availability. You’ll then get back to Marrakech in the late evening.
