In between, street performers will show their art forms to participants playing the flute, oud, and violin.
Participants will meet in front of Al Husseini Mosque and move to Jabal Al Joufeh. They will begin with a traditional Jordanian music form called Mejwez with Dabke (traditional levantine dance). Then, participants will move through downtown, visiting street performers and musicians (playing harmonica, flute, and oud). Arriving on the western side, participants will learn about contemporary music made by young people, including electronica, techno, and more.
