Grocery Shopping and Cooking Class in Downtown Amman

While visiting our beloved Amman, take the opportunity to dig deeper into the Jordanian culture, food traditions and daily life through this experience led by our professional Jordanian chef and young community members.

You will learn the story behind each traditional meal, the best recipe to make it and of course we will together enjoy its delicious taste.

We will meet in front of Al-Hussaini Mosque in the center of Downtown where we will explore the history of the oldest markets then start our grocery shopping at Souq Al-Sukkar where we will pick the fresh vegetables, spices and other essential ingredients depending on the meal we are cooking.

Having bought what we need, we will start walking towards our kitchen at Jameeda khanoum passing by downtown historical buildings and markets before we start preparing and cooking our traditional meal together while enjoying different discussions and stories with our local staff.
