Overnight Trip to El Minya From Luxor

ITINERARY

Day 1: Luxor / El Minya Tour
A representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor and transfer you to El Minya, which is 6 hours away from Luxor. Upon arrival at El Minya, you will visit the city’s sites, including the Great Plain where Akhenaton received his divine inspiration to build the city. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant in El Minya. Lastly, you will be transferred to your hotel at El Minya.

Day 2: Beni Hassan & Tombs Tour / Luxor
In the morning, you will be driven to Beni Hassan, where you can see Bakhet's tomb (Bakhet III was the Governor of the Oryx Nome), Khnumhotep's tomb (Khnumhotep was a governor under Amenemhat III in the 12th dynasty), and Khety's tomb (it belongs to a governor in the 11th dynasty). Then, we will proceed to visit the northern tombs. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant in El Minya before driving you back to your hotel in Luxor.
