Sakkara and Memphis

Your tour will begin with a pick-up from your hotel by a representative. They will then take you to the Step Pyramid of Zoser, which is located in the Saqqara necropolis, a vast burial ground that served as the cemetery for the ancient city of Memphis. After exploring the Step Pyramid of Zoser, your tour will proceed to a local restaurant where you will have the chance to sample some traditional Egyptian cuisine for lunch. This is a great opportunity to try some new flavors and learn more about the local culture.

Next, you will be transferred to the ancient city of Memphis, which was founded by King Menes and served as the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom. Memphis was a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years and was the first capital of Egypt. Here, you will have the chance to see the Statue of Ramses II, one of the most famous and impressive statues from ancient Egypt. This statue depicts Ramses II, who was one of the most powerful pharaohs in Egyptian history, and it's a great example of the incredible artistry and craftsmanship of the ancient Egyptians.

You will also have the chance to see the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis, which is a smaller but equally impressive statue. This sphinx is carved from a single block of alabaster and it's a beautiful example of ancient Egyptian sculpture.

Finally, when you're ready to head back to your hotel, your representative will transfer you back in comfort and safety.
