What you’re going to do
The tour starts with a pick-up from your hotel at 8:00 AM by a representative, and the itinerary includes the following:
First, you will visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world's oldest major stone structure. This pyramid was built in the 3rd Dynasty for King Zoser and is a testament to the incredible engineering skills of the ancient Egyptians. The Step Pyramid is a must-see attraction for anyone interested in the history of ancient Egypt.
Next, you will proceed to Dahshur to explore the Red Pyramid, the oldest true pyramid in history. Visitors have the opportunity to enter this pyramid and see the incredible interior design that has survived for thousands of years. You will also have the chance to see the Bent Pyramid, which is the most preserved pyramid in Dahshur.
After exploring Dahshur, the tour will move on to Memphis city, which was founded by King Menes and served as the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom. Memphis was considered a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years and was the first capital of Egypt. Here, you will see the famous Statue of Ramses II, one of the most impressive statues from ancient Egypt, and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis, a beautiful example of ancient Egyptian sculpture.
