Tribal Trail of Arunchal Pradesh

DAY 01: GUWAHATI – TEZPUR (220 km) (ASSAM)  
Today arrive at Guwahati airport, received and then transferred to Tezpur, reach Tezpur and check into hotel and overnight stay. 
 
DAY 02: TEZPUR – ZIRO (280 km) (ARUNACHAL PRADESH)  
Today after breakfast we will proceed to Ziro, enroute you will pass through many tiny pockets of Assamese, Bodo and Nishi Tribal villages, on reaching Ziro check into hotel and overnight stay.  
 
DAY 03: ZIRO (ARUNACHAL PRADESH) 
Today we will explore the Apatani tribal villages of Ziro, Hong, Hari, Dutta. Overnight stay in Ziro.  
 
DAY 04: ZIRO – DAPORIZO (130 km) (ARUNACHAL PRADESH) 
After breakfast, we will drive to Daporizo – the headquarter of the Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh, located at an altitude of six hundred meters is an inhabitant of Tagin tribes, the drive passes through the lush green forest and tiny villages, the road goes along the Subansari River. Enroute you can visit Nishi tribal villages at Raga. Evening at leisure and overnight will be in Daporizo. 
 
DAY 05: DAPORIZO – AALO (100 km) (ARUNACHAL PRADESH) 
After breakfast, we will drive to Along – the headquarter of West Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 300 meters an inhabitants of Adi (Gallong ) tribes. The tribe Adi has different sub tribes which differ from each other's like Adi (Gallong, Minyong, Pasi, Padam, Bori and Boker). Afternoon visit Kabo village.  Evening will be at leisure. Overnight at Along. 
 
DAY 06: AALO – MECHUKA (130 km) (ARUNACHAL PRADESH) 
Today after breakfast we will drive to Mechuka, enroute we will visit Galo tribal villages, the drive passes through mesmerizing landscape and high mountains. On reaching Mechuka check into accommodation. 

DAY 07: MECHUKA (ARUNACHAL PRADESH) 
After breakfast head out for a walk to Darjeeling village learning about the culture and lifestyle of the Memba tribe. Later we will visit a beautiful Monastery, back to accommodation and overnight stay.  
DAY 08: MECHUKA – AALO (130 km) (ARUNACHAL PRADESH) 
We will drive back to Aalo for an overnight stay. 
 
DAY 09: AALO – PASIGHAT (65 km) (ARUNACHAL PRADESH) 
Today we will proceed to Pasighat , the drive is very scenic passing along the mighty River Siang and the lush green landscapes and tiny villages and farmlands. We will also visit the confluence of the Siang and Siom River which is the main source of The River Brahmaputra. Also experience a hanging bridge over the Siang River. Reaching Pasighat, we will check into the hotel and later we will visit the local markets. Overnight stay in Pasighat. 
 
DAY 10: PASIGHAT – ROING (120 km) (ARUNACHAL PRADESH) 
After breakfast, we will proceed for Roing (04 hrs drive) crossing river Brahmaputra, on reaching Roing check into accommodation for overnight stay. 
 
DAY 11: ROING (ARUNACHAL PRADESH) 
Today explore the Idu Mishmi tribal villages in Roing, also drive to Mayodia Pass, through the twisting roads and semi evergreen forest of the Mishmi hills, back to Roing and overnight stay. 
 
DAY 12: ROING – NAMSAI (90 km) (ARUNACHAL PRADESH) 
After breakfast, we will drive to Namsai – Lekhapani. We will drive towards Tezu and first stop would be at Parsuram Kund, and then stop at Wakro and Chowkhum, in Chowkhum visit a Khamti village and their monasteries. Then we will proceed to Lekhapani and stay at Lekhapani Monastery Guest house, evening will be at leisure and enjoy the peaceful stay.  
 
DAY 13: NAMSAI – DIBRUGARH (80 km) (ASSAM)  
Today we will start early and then proceed to Dibrugarh, we will visit the Namphake village in Naharkatia and then proceed for Dibrugarh. On reaching Dibrugarh check into hotel.  
 
DAY 14: DIBRUGARH (ASSAM)  
 
After breakfast, we drive to Dibrugarh airport for onward destination.
