3-Day Sahara Desert Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga

After spending the night in a desert tent in the Sahara, you may ride a camel over the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. We ride camels all the way to the middle of the Sahara Desert, where we have dinner, and then spend the night sleeping outdoors beneath the stars.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Dades Valley
Marrakech
You will be picked up from your Marrakech hotel to begin the first step of your Morocco vacation today, which will take you from Marrakech to the desert. From Marrakech to the desert, our journey will take you. Following that, we make our way via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, soaking in the breathtaking panorama.

Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou
As we go through Berber towns, we will get the opportunity to observe and learn more about the production of argan oil by Berber women engaged in their cooperative. We are heading to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, which is the largest Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Ouarzazate
We will continue our drive towards Ouarzazate after lunch in the Kasbah. We visited many film studios as well as a kasbah while in town. The city is known as the "Hollywood of Africa," and we took a tour of it while we were there.

M'Gouna Kalaat
Today we will travel down what is commonly referred to as the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs." We come to a standstill at "Kalaat M'Gouna." It is well-known for its annual festival, which takes place on the first weekend of May. As the day comes to an end, we go to the Dades Valley and check into the hotel that will be our home for the night in the Dades Gorge. Throughout our stay, we will be served dinner and breakfast.

Day 2: Dades - Todgha Gorges - Merzouga Camel Trek
The Dades Gorges
Following our breakfast at the riad, we will continue our journey through Morocco to the Dades Valley, where we will see the rock structure known as "the monkey toes."

Gorges of Todra
On our trip from the Dades Valley to the Todgha Valley, we'll pass through Tinghir and see stunning vistas of the old Berber towns that dot the terrain. We've arrived at the Todgha Gorge, and there's a 300-meter-high crimson cliff looming over us from above. Because rock climbing is a popular activity, a great number of people are drawn to this site.

Desert of Merzouga
Following that, we travel to Erfoud, also known as the fossil capital, and Rissani. Both of these cities are located in the same geographic area. We'll start driving towards Merzouga in the car. We are ready to go on a camel journey in the desert with a qualified guide. We're going to pitch our Berber nomad tents in the desert and spend the night there.

Day 3: Merzouga - Draa Valley - Marrakech
Merzouga
The sunrise over the desert will be stunning, and we'll be able to experience it today in Merzouga. Following that, we return to Merzouga on camels for the full journey. After returning to Merzouga, we will have breakfast before continuing on to Rissani to complete our journey.

Agdz
Today's schedule includes visits to Agdz and the Draa Valley.

Marrakech
We continue our journey to Marrakech, passing via the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass on the way, and our holiday comes to an end when we arrive.
