Atlas Mountains – Berber villages – Valleys and More (full day)

A few steps away from Marrakech the high atlas mountains extends about thirty kilometers,in this day trip we go through the three valleys starting by: Ait Mizan,Sidi fares,Ourika :

The Imlil valley is Near the mountain Toubkal and its green valley stretching along the river that winds between the flanks of the Atlas mountain, where you taste tea with a local Berber family and resumed the road to ASNI (visit the weekly souk on Saturday),then continue on to Sidi fares Oasis in this exceptional day trip we follows our tour by the old forest track to the region of Sidi Fares below Mount Oukaimeden. This tour is unaccompanied but easy to navigate. The route takes us to Douar Outghal and through the forest to Issoumar (1,382 m).. There are wonderful views of Mount Oukaimeden . The return leg is down-hill and follows the new windy mountain road to Douar Ouraken, and back to Ourika valley which is considered one of the most pristine valleys in morocco, where traditional houses, are situated on the clay slopes. The road continues along the Oued Ourika(Ourika river) , where water is plentiful throughout the year. Lined with vegetable crops and orchards, long shaded meadows offer one the chance to relax. also will be an occasion a local Berber ladies cooperative of Argan Oil ,to see how they make it and have an idea about this magical tree ,and what they can make from it, The road terminates in the village of Setti Fatma(60km) which is relatively quiet typical Berber village with people known for their gracious hospitality and lifestyle .and is situated in the hollow of the imposing slopes of the Atlas with an altitude of fifteen hundred meters’ short walk and a bit of a scramble above the village are seven medium sized waterfalls. This is an ideal area for gentle hiking and also popular with both Moroccan and visiting artists.around 4 pm we drive back to Marrakech ,then drop off ypou at your accommodation around 5:30 pm.
