This is a UNESCO world heritage site that was built by the Portuguese in the 16th century following Vasco da Gama’s voyage when he discovered the booming port town of Mombasa.

What you’re going to do

In the tour we will talk about the history of the fort, the struggle of power between the Portuguese, the Omani Arabs and eventually under the British colonial rule. we will show you the interiors of the Fort and how it was used under the different rules. we will quench your curiosity for history and give you a better understanding of the East African Coast.

This experience can be done in person and virtually.
