ITINERARY
Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen
We will pick up you at the port or airport and drive through the Rif Mountains and the city of Tetoun to enjoy the views of the beautiful mountains until we arrive in Chefchaouen, one of the impressive villages. You will discover that Chefchaouen has a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky shops and the best restaurants and cafes where you will have lunch before continuing our way to Fes, where we will spend the night in a riad.
Day 2: Chefchaouen - Fes
After breakfast, we will show you the Blue City before leaving for Fes, a beautiful city founded in the 8th century. Fes is the oldest of the Moroccan imperial cities, with a medina that brings us back to the 13th century. We will give you a time to enjoy the nice views of rif mountains and old medinas.
Day 3: Fes
After breakfast in your riad, your local medina guide will come to pick you up to discover the oldest city in Morocco by walking through its streets and alleys. Our visit begins by visiting the Royal Palace, the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate, and the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco during the 16th century. We will make sure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in Africa, the tanneries, the Attarine Museum and the Mulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, we will enjoy the wonderful panoramic view over the entire Medina of Fes. Accommodation and dinner in riad.
Day 4: Fes - Meknes - Volubilis
Along with a tour guide, we will give you time to discover Meknes by visiting the Roman site, the Archaeological Site of Volubilis, which is considered a famous attraction in the Imperial city.
Day 5: Meknes - Rabat
Today, we drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Once in Rabat, we will start our city tour from the Hassan tower, one of the oldest mosques in Morocco. We will continue to visit the Mohamed V mausoleum, where the tombs of the Alaouite sultans Mohamed V and his two sons lie. From there, we will drive to visit the Chellah of Kasbah which was used as a necropolis for the Marinid dyansty. After, we will drive to the coast to visit the Kasbah of Oudayas, a very important art gallery. After the visit, you will have a free time to drink mint tea on one of the terraces near the Kasbah and if we still have time, we can visit the king palace from outside and enjoy moments in its gardens.
Day 6: Rabat - Sahara Desert
After breakfast, we will drive to the Sahara Desert via the Middle Atlas. During sunset time, you will have a lovely panorama picture view of the dunes of Merzouga. Enjoy a camel trek, fire, and music in the camp.
Day 7: Sahara Desert - Roses Valley
After breakfast in the luxury camp, we will drive to Roses Valley and Todra Gorges via Dades Valley and Tinghir Oasis. On the way, we will see the fossils and minerals of Morocco that are based in the capital Erfoud. You will sleep in a Kasbah hotel.
Day 8: Roses Valley - Marrakeh - Casablanca
After breakfast in a traditional Kasbah, we will drive to the Red City where we will ride a horse carriage for 2 hours & explore Majorelle
Garden. Then, we will continue our journey to Casablanca.
Day 9: Casablanca - Chefchaouen
You will have a chance to explore and visit during the drive back towards the Blue City of Chefchaouen - also called also chaouen (peak of mountain). During this trip, we will cross and drive along the villages and the green fields of souk Laarbaa Lagharb. We will stop for lunch at the city of Ouazzane, then continue to Chefchaouen through the pass of Rif Mountains.
Day 10: Chefchaouen - Tangier
Along with a guide, we will give you free time to visit the city and then we will drive back to Tangier through the Rif Mountains. You can enjoy the landscapes along the road while driving and the small berber villages on the top of the mountains. We will stop for lunch at Tetouan, then use our free time to explore the city. After that, we will continue to Tangier; arrival and check in to your hotel.
