What you’re going to do

Stop at Lalla Takerkoust, located approximately 40 kilometers from Marrakech, and admire the panoramic view of the Lalla Takerkoust Dam at a height of 1400 meters. The dam is not only a source of water but also a picturesque spot that offers a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy the view.

Stop at Asni, a charming village located at the foot of Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. Asni is the starting point for many stunning hikes and offers breathtaking landscapes of the Atlas Mountains. You'll be surrounded by small villages, orchards, and olive groves that immerse you in the simple and serene life of rural living. Don't miss the Walnut Festival, a significant event that celebrates and preserves the walnut as a cultural and heritage symbol.

Join the Kik Plateau, which offers a stunning landscape and an exotic setting. You'll pass through traditional Berber villages where authentic houses are built with earth and stone by the inhabitants themselves.

Head towards the Setti Fatma valley, where you'll enjoy an hour of climbing with a mountain guide to reach the Setti Fatma waterfalls. The waterfalls are one of the most popular attractions in the Ourika Valley, with seven cascades in total. After the climb, you can enjoy a traditional lunch in one of the restaurants by the river or water.

Continue to the Ourika Valley, which is about 50 kilometers south of Marrakech, and enjoy the cooler temperatures in the shadow of the snow-capped High Atlas peaks. The blooming valley is especially beautiful from February to April when almond and cherry orchards bloom and wildflowers run riot, creating a stunning landscape.
