Visit The Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples From Luxor

A representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor and transfer you by a private AC vehicle to Edfu, where you can visit the majestic Temple of Edfu that is dedicated to Horus. Horus is considered by most experts, the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt. According to the Egyptian myths, it was the place where the falcon-headed god Horus revenged the murder of his father Osiris by killing Seth.

Then continue your tour to Kom Ombo to see the Temple of Kom Ombo, which stands on higher grounds where you can appreciate the Nile. It differs from other temples because of its double entrances: each entrance is dedicated to a certain God: “Haroeris,” the Egyptian God of Light, with his falcon head, and “Sobek,” the ancient Egyptian God of the Nile, with his crocodile head. Also, Kom Ombo‘s importance lies on its huge sugar-cane fields, as it is originally an agricultural town, producing mostly irrigated sugar cane and corn.

Once you are done with the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor.
