Discover the beautiful Ouirgan Valley with its traditional villages, olive farms, and salt mines. Witness great views over the Atlas Mountains and enjoy lunch prepared by a local family.

What you’re going to do

Ouirgan day trip starts from Marrakech with pick up at 9:00 by modern transport , the trip goes via Tahnaout and Asni. Visit the weekly Markets where local people from the Atlas Mountain bring their cash crops and animals to sell and buy fruits and other food.

The trip continues to Ouirgan valley. Here, you will go for a hike with your local guide through the berber villages of Tikhfist, Anraz, and Agni having great view over the whole valley with green farms of Olive and fruit Trees. Lunch will served in a local house and it will be prepared by local Family .

After lunch, we will have another short walk to visit the salt mines and local Women's Cooperative where local women make local food, oil, and clothes to earn a living.

The hike ends in Marigha and we will drive back to Marrakech. An optional camel ride on the way is offered .
