ITINERARY
Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Dades Valley
Marrakech
We will meet you at your hotel in Marrakech to begin the first day of our Morocco trip. Today marks the start of our journey. We will begin our journey to the Dades Valley in Marrakech, where we will pick you up and bring you with us. We will cross via the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass on this leg of the route. Today, as you make your way through the Berber mountain towns, you will have the opportunity to see some breathtaking sites. You'll have a terrific time taking in the beautiful surroundings and seeing how they change throughout the day.

Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou
We're going to take a diversion to see the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, which is the largest in Morocco and a Unesco World Heritage Site. El Glaoui Et-Hami, the last Berber chieftain, erected it towards the end of the 19th century, and UNESCO recognises it as an important historical site today. A big number of Glaoui family members continue to call that location home to this day.

The Dades Gorges
The following leg of our trek to the Dades Gorge is known as "the Thousand Kasbahs." This route provides several opportunities for photographing both the natural landscape and the people that reside in the region. We will proceed to the "Dades Valley" after arriving in Kalaat M'Gouna, which is well-known for its roses and the festival that takes place there every May during the rose harvest. The Valley of the Valleys will be seen from here. It is easy to have a good look at the beautiful rock formation known as "the monkey toes" right here, and it is strongly suggested that you do so. Following the first day of our private vacation, which began in Marrakech, we make our way to the riad where we will spend the night and have dinner.

Day 2: Dades - Todgha Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga
The Dades Gorges
After having our breakfast, we will leave the Dades Valley and go to Tinghir and the Todgha Valley.

Gorges of Todra
We enjoy the amazing views provided by the old Berber towns that peak out over the valley. As we go, we are right in front of a crimson cliff around 300 metres high. There is a chance that we may embark on a one-hour trip around the valley. While we're there, we'll talk to residents who work in their professions and learn about the culture of the area.

Desert of Merzouga
After lunch at this location, we will go to Merzouga via Erfoud and then back to Marrakech. While in Morocco, we will go via the Tafilalet Valley, passing past the largest date palm farm in the country. We'll take a trip around Rissani's old souk, and along the way, we'll learn about the trading caravans that travelled all the way to Tombouctou, Mali. When we get in Merzouga in the afternoon, we head directly to your riad to check in and have dinner.

Day 3: Merzouga desert excursion
Merzouga
Our excursion across the Merzouga desert, which began in Marrakech, will continue after breakfast at our accommodation.

Khamlia
We're going to pay the nomads a visit and see the goat-hair tent they dwell in. We learn about desert life and travel to the Gnaoua hamlet of Khamlia, where we listen to the music of people who were originally taken as slaves from Sudan, Mali, and Senegal. We also learn about these people's history throughout our stay there.

Dunes of Erg Chebbi
A professional camel guide will lead us on camel rides into the desert sands of the Erg-Chebbi dunes. We will be able to tour the Erg-Chebbi dunes as a result of this.

Desert of Merzouga
As the sun begins to set over the Sahara desert, we take in the breathtaking scenery. Following that, we'll enjoy a Berber lunch at the desert tent where we'll spend the night. This lunch will be quite traditional.

Day 4: Merzouga - Midelt - Fes
Merzouga
We'll ride camels back to the Merzouga hamlet where we're staying after watching the dawn in the desert this morning. As the sun rises, the first of today's festivities will begin.

Midelt
We will check out of the hotel after having our breakfast and then continue on to Fes, passing through the Ziz Valley on the route. To get to Midelt, we'll have to go across the Tizi n' Talghamt Pass, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding region.

Ifrane
As we continue on our adventure, we will pass through the Cedar Forest and the Middle Atlas Mountains. There's a chance we'll run into some Barbary monkeys in this region of the bush. The city of Ifrane is frequently referred to as "the Switzerland of Morocco" because of its Swiss-style architecture. We shall travel to this city.

Fes Following our stay in Marrakech, we make our way to Fes, the final destination on this itinerary.
