What you’re going to do

This tour begins in Fes and ends in Marrakech. The trip from Fes to Marrakech takes around three days to complete and passes through the Cedars woods, the Atlas mountains, and the desert along the way.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Erfoud - Merzouga
Fes will be the starting point for our three-day excursion, which will take us south through Midelt and Errachidia to Merzouga.

Ifrane
Your journey will begin in Ifrane, Morocco's "Switzerland." You'll then go to Merzouga through Midelt and the Ziz Valley. You will have the opportunity to visit both the Middle Atlas and the Higher Atlas mountains throughout your excursion.

Midelt
You will get the opportunity to view Barbary apes when you stop at the well-known cedar forest, Morocco's largest of its kind. As you get closer to Errachidia, the terrain changes and takes on more desert-like features. Following lunch in Midelt, you will continue your drive down the spectacular Ziz Valley, stopping along the route to view the breathtaking surroundings.

Merzouga
We will go by car via Berber villages to Erfoud, and then to Rissani, the birthplace of Morocco's current ruling family, the Alaouite dynasty. When you arrive in Merzouga at the end of the day, you will be greeted with a drink of mint tea before embarking on your camel ride to the heart of Morocco's highest sand dunes, where you will spend the night. You will spend the night in our desert tent and have dinner there.

Day 2: Sahara Desert – Todgha Gorge – Dades Valley
Merzouga
Your camel guide will wake you up at an ungodly hour to catch the dawn, which may be the most beautiful you've ever seen. Then, return to your riad on a leisurely camel ride while viewing the amazing natural beauty of the Erg Chebbi dunes, which will vary throughout the day as the sun passes over them.

Gorges of Todra
You will go to Morocco's highest and narrowest gorges, Tinghir and Todgha, after breakfast and a steaming shower in a typical Moroccan guesthouse. You'll be able to travel all the way down the valley from here.

The Dades River Gorges
We'll pass through Dades Valley, which is famous for its stunning rock formations known as "monkey toes" and gigantic sand castles. The riad or guesthouse where you will stay will be located right in the heart of the gorge.

Day 3: Dades – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Marrakech
M'Gouna Kalaat
Following breakfast, we will depart Fes and proceed to Ouarzazate and Kalaat M'Gouna through the Dades Valley. The path through Dades Valley is known as the Path of a Thousand Kasbahs, and it will provide you with several opportunity to capture some of your trip's most unforgettable photographs. We'll stop in Kalaat M'Gouna, also known as "the rose city," on the way back to pick up some rosewater. This will keep your linens smelling fresh long after your trip is done.

Ait Ben Haddou Lunch will be served at the well-known Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, Morocco's biggest. UNESCO has designated it a World Heritage Site. It has appeared in a number of films, including "Gladiator" and "Lawrence of Arabia," and as a result has become well-known.

Marrakech
We will continue our drive over the High Atlas Mountains via the beautiful Tizi n'Tichka pass, which is 2,260 metres in elevation, before arriving in Marrakech, where the tour from Fes ends. You will be able to stop along the way to observe the manufacture of argan oil at women's cooperatives.
