Atlas Mountains and Agafay Desert: Adventurous Day Trip

By a 4×4, we will head to locations off the beaten track! We will enjoy deserts, lakes, and mountains.

AGAFAY DESERT: 
Agafay Desert will be our first destination and it will entice you into finding out more about our upcoming destinations! Gaze at the stony landscapes and enjoy a relaxing experience surrounded by nature!

LAKE:
After Agafay Desert, the next stop will be at beautiful Lake Takerkoust where we will have a Moroccan mint tea break. This lake is a popular weekend destination where you can go boating or take a swim. 

MOUNTAINS:
From the lake, we will drive with the 4×4 via the Kik Plateau to the little mountain village called Imlil. We will follow a less trodden mountain road to Imlil where you will have lunch at a local guesthouse. From here you will have a beautiful view of the Mizane Valley. After lunch, you will meet a local guide for a 1.5-hour walk in the area. After the walk, we will transfer you back to Marrakech.

If you do this excursion on a Saturday you will also visit the traditional and exotic weekly Berber market of Asni in the Atlas Mountains.

There will be lots of opportunities for taking photos on this trip, so don’t forget your camera.
