3-Day Private Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes

Experience the night in a tent, and enjoy riding camels and camping out. While traveling over the high Atlas Mountains and passing by Berber communities on your way to the Sahara Desert from Marrakech, you will have the chance to view and investigate the southern region of Morocco on your excursion. ITINERARY
Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Dades Gorges

In the morning, we will come to your hotel in Marrakech and pick you up so that we can get started on our three-day adventure through Morocco, which will begin in Marrakech and conclude in the desert. We make many stops along the way as we go over the Tizi n'Tichka pass so that everyone may soak in the breathtaking scenery of the land that is all around them.

Ait Ben Haddou
During this day, we will also go through Berber communities, and while we are there, we will observe and learn about the method by which argan oil is created by Berber women working in their cooperative. During this time, we will also have the opportunity to purchase some argan oil. During this time, we will also go through communities that are predominantly Berber. Due to the fact that the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou is the largest Kasbah in all of Morocco, you will spend some of your time in Morocco seeing this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Ouarzazate
We take a trip to Ouarzazate, which is sometimes referred to as the "Hollywood of Africa," and while we are there, we visit a variety of film studios as well as a kasbah. During our time there, we also visit the Kasbah. During the course of our time there, we also explore a few of the local kasbahs.

Dades Gorges
Taking a trip down the path that is known as the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs" by locals and tourists alike. We stop for a break at the town of Kalaat M'Gouna, which is famous across the area for the festival that is hosted there on an annual basis. As the sun begins to set, we leave the Dades Gorge and make our way to the Dades Valley, where we check into the hotel that will serve as our base of operations for the night in the Dades Gorge. During the entirety of our stay, both dinner and breakfast will be prepared for us.

Day 2: Dades - Todgha Gorges - Merzouga desert

After we have had our breakfast, we will continue on with our journey through the Dades Valley to visit a rock formation that is sometimes known as "The Monkey Toes."

After that, we will carry on with our travels by means of the Todgha valley, which provides breathtaking views of the ancient Berber towns that dot the landscape along the way. We have arrived at the Todgha Gorge, and at the entrance, there is a crimson cliff that is 300 meters high and looms over us from above. Rock climbing is a very popular activity, and as a result, a big number of people are interested in visiting this place.

Merzouga Desert
After that, we will head in the direction of Erfoud, also known as the capital of fossils, as well as Rissani. Both of these locations are located in the desert. We are going to get the car and start driving in the direction of Merzouga, which is the name of the town. We get ready to go on a camel journey in the desert with an experienced guide and get started with our preparations. You will spend the night in the middle of the desert in a Berber nomad tent. Day 3: Merzouga - Mildet - Ifrane - Fes

In the desert of Merzouga, your camel guide will wake you up before daybreak so that you may see the sunrise over the sand dunes. After that, we continue our trip by riding camels back to the hotel in the desert where we had breakfast earlier so that we may continue our trip there.

Midelt
On the way to Midelt in the Atlas Mountains, after passing through Errachidia, we take the route that goes through the Ziz Valley and then crosses the Tizi Ntalghamt pass. Midelt is situated in the Atlas Mountains.

Ifrane
In order to see the barbarian apes that live in the cedar forest that is located near the Berber village of Azrou, we get in a car and go there. Our destination is the Berber settlement of Azrou. We are presently on our journey to Ifrane, also known as the Switzerland of Morocco, which is also where we will be spending the night. Ifrane is also the name of the city we are currently traveling to.

Fes When we get to Fes, the guided tour that began in Marrakech will come to an end. Fes is the most important city in Morocco.
